Description
For Drawcember 2017, I decided to give myself the additional challenge of drawing only characters based on my wife (I have... a few). Technically, this one isn't... it's said character's room.
Constance Illian-Sims is a former agent of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum; she and her husband Dafydd have retired to a lovely house which they promptly filled with five kids. This room is about the only one the kids aren't really allowed in.
I'm really pleased with this picture. It took longest of all my images so far (probably 3-4 hours over the course of a day), and is packed full of easter eggs. The one I'll credit explicitly is that the portrait over the bed is a copy of fanart drawn by Lily Winterwood to commemorate Dafydd and Constance's wedding (and, in fact, mine and my wife's). Actually, the picture on the right-hand side is also by her.
